Reflecting on our first, full trading year…

A few weeks ago, we celebrated our first year of trade and what a year 2021 has been.

On reflection, choosing to open in the middle of a pandemic was probably not the shrewdest thing we could have done!

However, trade has seen some of the most variable trends with COVID, Stamp Duty Land Tax breaks, the return of widely available 95% mortgages, coupled together with all-time low stock levels and huge demand driving average prices to record highs.

We certainly didn’t anticipate four industry awards and we are undeniably proud to have surpassed so many established Biggleswade Estate Agents to these accolades. Three Gold awards and a Silver seemed testament to our approach, success, and drive for exceptional standards.

Opening during such a challenging time has absolutely driven the necessity to promote exceptionally, proactively stimulate potential buyers and draw upon our experience to accept that you cannot simply advertise a home and wait for a reaction.

Selling a property at full asking price that had been previously marketed by three established agents for a total of 611 days, was a very early indication that our approach and standard of promotion was clearly different.
